Women In Parasitology Database
A resource for increasing diversity in parasitology speakers
The goal of this website is to create and organize a list of parasitology speakers who are women and/or members of underrepresented racial and ethnic groups. This resource is meant to aid organizers of conferences and seminar series in order to increase speaker diversity. We are always soliciting entries for the list!
We are currently using AirTable to manage our Women In Parasitology (WiP) and Underrepresented Racial and Ethinic Minoroites in Parasitology (URMiP) lists to make them more searchable and sortable. The Women In Malaria Research (WiM) list is maintained separately, so please be sure to add your name to that list if you are a woman studying malaria. Please contact us here if you encounter any trouble with the WiP or URMiP lists, or @hanniepower if you encounter any trouble with the WiM list
